Speed trainer
Set a passage at 60, climb by 4 every eight bars, stop at 120. PULSE holds the plan.
Metronome · Tuner · Drone · Apple Watch
PULSE is a metronome, chromatic tuner and drone for iPhone. The click, the flash and the tap on your Apple Watch land together — from the first lesson to the stage.

The Watch tap
Each beat arrives as a firm tap on the wrist. Turn the click off in a lesson, on a stage, or in a quiet house — the pulse stays with you, and your eyes stay on the music.

Three tools, one instrument

01 · Metronome
20–400 BPM, meters from a plain pulse to 7/8, subdivisions from quarters to sixteenths. Tap a tempo, set accents per beat, or save a preset and step back into it. The needle moves with the beat, and the beat only.
Also: silent bars for internalising tempo · gradual speed trainer · four click sounds and a count-in
02 · Tuner
A calm cents needle that settles instead of jittering. Reference pitch from 415 to 466 Hz, and transposition for C, B♭, E♭ and F instruments.
Also: pitch is found on the phone and never uploaded · the microphone is on only while the tuner is · the drone follows the same A4

03 · Drone
Pick any pitch and hold it. Two voices: Warm, a steady sustained tone, and Piano, which strikes the note again every few seconds — like an A given from the keyboard. Add a perfect fifth and tune the interval, not just the note.
Also: follows A4 from the tuner · step by semitone with − and +

In the lesson
Teachers asked for a metronome a student can't argue with. The tap on the wrist is the same beat the teacher hears — and the student feels it before they think about it.
Speed trainer
Set a passage at 60, climb by 4 every eight bars, stop at 120. PULSE holds the plan.
Silent bars
Audible bars, then silent ones. The student learns to hold the tempo without the click.
Large figures
BPM readable from across the room. Stage Arena is a giant beat number; a tap brings the controls back.
Four presets
The tempos you rehearse most, saved with meter, sound, count-in and accents. Tap a slot, it is ready.

Questions
Yes. The phone schedules click, flash and haptic against one clock and sends the Watch a tempo and a start time rather than a stream of taps, so nothing queues up or drifts.
Entirely. The Watch tap is an addition, not a requirement. Everything on the phone works on its own.
Once a tempo is running, yes — the Watch keeps time on its own, and the Digital Crown changes it. The tuner and the drone need the phone.
Classic is the pendulum with your colour, glass and photo. Stage Arena is a giant beat number for the music stand. Zero is pure black and one thin line on the beat. The beat is brass in all three.
