PULSE is a metronome, chromatic tuner and practice drone. Tokenized World LLC does not collect, sell or share personal data through this app. The app has no account, no server of its own and no third-party SDKs.
What the app uses on your device
- Microphone — only after you turn the tuner's microphone on. Audio is analyzed on the device to detect pitch. It is not recorded, not stored and not sent anywhere. Turning the tuner off releases the microphone.
- Photo backdrop (optional) — you can pick one photo as the backdrop of the Classic skin. The picker hands the app only the photo you choose; the app keeps a copy in its own storage on the device and never uploads it. Settings → Backdrop → Remove photo deletes that copy.
- Settings and presets — tempo, meter, subdivision, sounds, skin, color scheme and the four preset slots are stored in the app's own storage on the device.
- Watch connectivity — your metronome settings and Start/Stop sync between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch through Apple's Watch Connectivity. This traffic stays between your two devices; we do not operate a server for it.
- Haptics — the beat on your wrist or in your hand. Stays on the device.
- Background audio — so the click keeps running when you lock the screen or switch apps during practice.
- Subscription — PULSE Pro, including the free trial, is bought and billed through Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details; Apple tells the app only whether a plan is active and when it renews. Manage or cancel it in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
Diagnostics
If you have turned on Share With App Developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may send us anonymized crash reports for PULSE (device model, OS version, the crash location in our code — no personal data). We use them only to fix crashes. TestFlight beta testers: crash reports and any feedback you send through TestFlight reach us under Apple's TestFlight terms.
What we do not do
- No accounts and no sign-in
- No analytics SDK, no advertising, no third-party code
- No tracking across apps or websites
- No Health data, read or written — the Apple Watch practice session is a timer for rehearsal, not a health feature
- No cloud storage of audio, practice history or your photo
Deleting your data
Everything the app stores lives inside the app on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Children
PULSE is a music practice tool rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at the same address with a new date.
