This policy explains how Tokenized World LLC handles personal data through tzdw.io. Our apps have their own privacy policies, linked from each product page; for PULSE see tzdw.io/pulse/privacy. Those policies, not this one, describe what an app does on your device.
1. Who is responsible
Tokenized World LLC is the controller of the personal data covered by this policy. We are a Wyoming limited liability company with our registered and principal office in Sheridan, Wyoming, United States.
Contact us at hello@tzdw.io for privacy questions or requests.
2. Scope
This policy covers the public website and the collection points listed above. It does not cover what our apps do on your device: each app has its own privacy policy.
Do not send payment details, credentials, identity documents or other sensitive information by ordinary email unless we have agreed on an appropriate channel.
3. What we collect
Messages to us
If you email us, we receive your address, message, attachments, and the routing and delivery information needed to handle the correspondence.
Website operation and aggregate analytics
Vercel, our hosting provider, processes technical request information needed to serve and secure the site. This may include IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, and security or error information.
We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate site use. Plausible does not set cookies, build cross-site profiles, or store IP addresses or other persistent visitor identifiers. It reports aggregate information such as page views, referral source, browser, device, and approximate country or city. Plausible processes and stores this analytics data in the European Union.
App Store purchases
When you buy an app or an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction under its own privacy policy. We receive no name, email address or payment details from Apple; the app learns only whether a plan is active and when it renews.
4. Why we use the data
- Correspondence: to respond, manage a business relationship, and keep an appropriate record, based on requested pre-contract steps, performance of a contract, or our legitimate interests in communicating and operating the business.
- Hosting, security, and abuse prevention: to deliver the site, diagnose errors, protect the service, and meet legal obligations, based on our legitimate interests and applicable legal duties.
- Aggregate analytics: to understand which public material is useful and improve the site, based on our legitimate interest in operating an effective website with privacy-minimizing analytics.
- Compliance and rights: to maintain request and legal records where necessary to meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
5. Who receives the data
We use a small set of providers to operate these services:
- Vercel for website hosting;
- Plausible Analytics for aggregate, cookieless website measurement; and
- GoDaddy for business email hosting; and
- Apple for App Store distribution and purchases, under Apple's own privacy policy.
These providers process data under their contracts and privacy terms. Some also process limited service, security, abuse-prevention, or legally required information for their own responsibilities. We do not authorize them to use visitor data for unrelated advertising.
We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers, auditors, insurers, law-enforcement or regulators when reasonably necessary and legally permitted, or in connection with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections.
6. Sales, advertising, and online tracking
Tokenized World does not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not run advertising pixels or permit advertising networks to track visitors through tzdw.io.
California Do Not Track disclosure: because the site does not use cross-site behavioural tracking or sell or share personal data for behavioural advertising, browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change the site's current behaviour. Plausible continues to count aggregate, cookieless traffic. To our knowledge, no third party collects personally identifiable information through tzdw.io about a visitor's activities over time and across unrelated websites.
External sites linked from tzdw.io apply their own privacy practices.
7. International processing
Tokenized World and several providers are based in the United States, so personal data may be processed in the United States and other countries where a provider operates. Plausible visitor analytics is processed and stored in the European Union.
Where data protected by European, UK, or Swiss law is transferred to a country without an applicable adequacy decision, we rely on available contractual safeguards where required. Vercel and GoDaddy publish data-processing terms that include or support approved transfer clauses when those terms apply. You may ask us for more information about the applicable safeguards.
8. How long we keep data
- Business correspondence: for the relationship and normally up to three years after the last substantive interaction, with contracts, tax, corporate, or legal records kept longer where law requires.
- Other email inquiries: normally for up to 24 months after the last substantive interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for the relationship or a legal reason.
- Technical logs: for the period available under our hosting configuration and no longer than reasonably needed for delivery, security, incident response, or legal obligations. We do not copy routine visitor logs into a separate customer database.
Plausible statistics are aggregate rather than individual visitor records. Provider backups and security copies are deleted on the provider's normal cycle. We may retain a narrowly limited record longer where necessary to document a request, honour a suppression choice, or comply with law.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send a request to hello@tzdw.io. We may need information to verify that the request concerns you. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful limitation. If European data-protection law applies, you may also complain to the supervisory authority where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred.
10. Automated decisions
We do not use the data covered by this policy to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data, including limiting the information collected, server-side handling of provider credentials, access controls, and contracted service providers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
The site and its email are not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Our apps are rated for general audiences on the App Store and do not collect personal data from anyone. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted data through the site should contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
13. Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use data already collected, we will provide additional notice or seek consent where required.
